The Micro and Nanotechnology Group at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya

This group has lead the research on high-effiency silicon solar cells in Spain. It has a developed a unique capability to fabricate interdigitated-back-contact solar cell structures. It was one of the first groups demonstrating the viability to fabricate silicon-based solar cells with novel selective contacts.
