Background
This consortium maintains a strong collaboration that has been strengthened in previous calls of the R+D+i national plan.
It has also cooperated with the industrial sector in big specific projects implemented for technological transfer.

Numbers Speak For Themselves
The Micro and Nanotechnology Group at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
This group has lead the research on high-effiency silicon solar cells in Spain. It has a developed a unique capability to fabricate interdigitated-back-contact solar cell structures. It was one of the first groups demonstrating the viability to fabricate silicon-based solar cells with novel selective contacts.
